Live streaming, broadcast sets and conference AV at Detroit’s riverfront convention center. Our crew is based about 30 minutes away in Plymouth, so there are no travel fees.
For Automate Live 2025 we built a live broadcast set on the show floor and ran multi-camera coverage, producing the show’s live programming from inside the exhibit hall at Huntington Place.
What we ran: Live broadcast set and multi-camera production.
Huntington Place is Detroit’s convention center on the riverfront downtown. Planners who have been in town a while still call it Cobo or TCF Center: it was renamed Huntington Place in 2021. It hosts trade shows, conferences and expos of every size.
Planning AV at Huntington Place
What we tell planners before an event here. Venue rules change, so we confirm the details for your date.
01
Ask which services are exclusive
Convention centers often keep some services in-house, like electrical, rigging or internet. Ask the venue’s event services team early, so we can quote around it.
02
Order a hardwired internet line
Show-floor Wi-Fi is shared by thousands of devices. For a live stream, order a dedicated wired connection and we’ll spec the bandwidth for you.
03
Plan the load-in window
Big shows share docks and freight elevators. We confirm your move-in and move-out times with show management and schedule the crew around them.
04
Build the set for the floor
Show-floor noise and light are hard to control. We design broadcast sets with their own lighting and audio so stream quality holds up mid-expo.
Often, yes, for many event types, though some services may be exclusive to the venue or show contractor. We check the rules for your event and build any required fees into one quote.
Send your dates, hall or room, headcount and agenda through our proposal form, or call or text 734-657-3141. John Bujak, the owner, reviews every request.
