Event production and video at the restored Michigan Central Station in Corktown. Our crew is based in metro Detroit and has produced here for Ford Motor Company.
We produced a corporate event with video for Ford Motor Company at Michigan Central Station: production support in the room and video capture of the event inside the restored station.
What we ran: Corporate event production and video.
About Michigan Central Station
Michigan Central Station is the restored 1913 train station in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood. Ford reopened it in June 2024 as the centerpiece of its Michigan Central innovation district, and it now hosts corporate events in some of the most photographed rooms in the city.
Planning AV at Michigan Central
What we tell planners before an event here. Venue rules change, so we confirm the details for your date.
01
Respect the historic finishes
Restored stone, plaster and tile mean no tape, no screws and careful rigging. We bring floor protection and freestanding truss and plan cable paths with the venue.
02
Light the architecture
The rooms are the show. A few uplights and a lighting plan built around the ceilings make the space read on camera and in photos.
03
Plan for big-room audio
Tall stone rooms are echoey. We place speakers and choose microphones to keep speeches clear, rather than just turning it up.
04
Confirm access and security early
Event access, parking and load-in are coordinated through the venue. We get the crew credentials and timings sorted before show day.
Send your date, room, headcount and run of show through our proposal form, or call or text 734-657-3141. We’ll come back with a clear quote, usually the same day.
