In August 2025 we produced the Prostate Health Summit in the ballroom here: a branded panel stage, projection screens, audio for presenters and audience questions, lighting for camera, and a multi-camera live stream for viewers who could not travel.

The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport sits inside DTW’s McNamara Terminal, with its own TSA checkpoint in the hotel lobby. That makes it a natural fit for regional meetings, medical and association summits, and any event where attendees fly in and out the same day. Marriott lists 28,844 sq ft of event space across 35 rooms. The largest, the Lindbergh Ballroom, is 7,150 sq ft and seats up to 800 theater-style; it divides into three sections, with the smaller Sky Ballroom and 29 breakout rooms alongside.

Fly-in attendees and remote presenters run on airline schedules. Build buffer into the run of show and plan a backup way for late speakers to present remotely.

Confirm the loading route
Airport properties have their own security and delivery rules. We confirm the dock, freight route and load-in window with the hotel before show day.
